We are all necessary parts of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:22

Now & Next All Abilities Advancement

Over the past year there has been much prayer about next steps. We knew right from the beginning that City Hope had a huge opportunity and responsibility as a church of all abilities. City Hope was never meant to be an island, but rather where an all abilities church movement begins. We are a church where the community finds multiple opportunities to be blessed through hope and care in the name of Jesus. Prayers over the past year point to three future steps: 1) Acquiring

City Hope continues to desire to be flexible and do what's best overall as we consider our vision - being an all abilities church. We've worshipped together at 4pm through most of the winter months and had initially decided we'd go back to 5 after February. However, as we've grown, and also seem to be experiencing a start-time that may be more helpful, we will continue worship at 4pm through the spring and summer as well. At some point later in the winter of 2023/2024 we

God continues to provide. He reminds His people every day that He is in control. We see yet again how God shows He is the source of all life, hope and provision. Through His love, hearts are beating for people disconnected from the church. Many are hearing God's call. We look forward to an incredible ministry ahead for all-abilities! The goal was to raise $142,000 by the end of December 2020. We still have $39,000 that is needed. In raising all the funds, we can fully focu

We had long been unaware...one of the things God prepared well in advance was a special connection with a national (but locally based) ministry that helps schools and churches with resources and tools as they serve those with special needs. For years they have been known as CLC Network, but now have a new name, All Belong. We're excited to officially partner. You can find out more about All Belong here.
