This is where you'll find monthly prayer opportunities and some stories of God at work. It's the spot where, as ministry partners, we lift requests and thanks to God. With that in mind, we recognize God's continued work in His redemption story.

PRAYERS OF THANKS:

- Thank you God for the additional people interested in being part of City Hope GR.

- Another church is becoming a Ministry Partner in prayer and support.

- Construction continues to move quickly and it's been exciting to see the building take shape with so many great people working to make things happen. Drywall is finished, painting has bugun and the exterior is well underway. We are on track to have occupancy as planned, starting in July. This will give us the time to move in and prepare for launch in September.

- Thank you God for new connections into the schools.

- Thank you again God for continuing to provide supporters.

- Thank you God for the way people are spreading the word about what You're doing and the beutiful new church of City Hope GR.

PRAYERS OF REQUEST:

- We are now in the final countdown as we work diligently through timelines and needs in preaparation for our September launch. We ask God to bring a safe and full ability to gather and minister through bringing us out of the covid pandemic. We also ask for Him to lead and do what He wants to do as we keep faithfully stepping and working at what God has put before us.

- For those considering becoming Ministry Partners in prayer and support - that God would open the floodgates and contirue to provide in a growing network that is so necessary for the work of City Hope GR to flourish.

- Ongoing prayer request - God has grown the Core Team. This continued growth has been an ongoing request. It's exciting to see His hand at work. We want to keep praying for His provision of people. People who have a heart for and catch the vision for this all-abilities church.

- Ongoing prayers for health and safety of our already existing team, Ministry Parnters and all those connected to City Hope GR. Satan would love nothing more than to bring harm to those commited to God's work here.

- God has continued to provide financial support for City Hope GR, brining down our outstanding balance to be raised. We are so grateful! We ask for God to provide the outstanding balance of $22,340.

- Opportunities to share on radio, TV and other ways about the ministry of City Hope GR.

STORIES:

Through a connection from another family, God led us to meet with the Intervarsity Leader from a local university. The leader explained that Inversarity is launching a new opportuity for those impacted by various disabilities on campus. The leader was so excited about City Hope GR and asked if we would be willing to partner with them and the students, also providing a church home for those with and without various disability. Of course we said "YES!" We're looking forward to what God does as a church connected to the university through Intervarsity. We were told that about 19% of students are impacted by some form of disability. God is continuing to work as we reach those around us.

We were asked to be part of a conversation with a church surrounding what disability ministry looks like, the various needs, and how we can partner in sharing the love of Jesus with individuals affected by various disbaility. This was a special time filled with lots of questions, expereinces, prayer and discerning for the future. Through this conversation there are people now interested in serving and supporting this new church plant. The best part of all is that we are receiving referrals to meet with those curious about what the church of City Hope GR will look like. We know the need is far beyond what we're capable of, so its an answer to prayer and especially exciting to see how God does what only He can do!
